Meet the team: Spotlight on Paula

With a strong background in both the financial services and development sector, that includes FNB, World Vision (CEO), Head of Sanlam Foundation, as well as setting up her own consultancy, Paula Barnard brings to SocialCauses her leadership skills as well as a great understanding of the NGO and social investment space in South Africa.

Paula believes that true value to any organisation is created when a strategy is simple, and well considered, and when implemented, actually delivers on the promise of positive, sustainable growth and positive social impact.

“What excites me about being part of SocialCauses is that I can bring together everything that I know about not only corporate and institutional social investment, but also what NGOs, their Boards, leadership teams and the development sector need to thrive. To use technology to supercharge those connections and facilitate change in the world is the most satisfying part of my day.”
